Nvidia Driver Causing Crashes (GTAV)

Question

KeRRR    746

Hey guys if you have been crashing on GTAV lately since the latest driver update (353.06). There is a temp fix, until they release a new stable driver.

The Cause:

The driver nvidia released (353.06) was not a stable driver, it was actually a beta driver, thus it has bugs that cause your display driver to not respond in/out of game and sometimes cause a black screen or random restart. To rectify this we found a rollback driver that works. Listed below.

The Fix:

Rollback to driver (350.12). To do this, head to nvidia drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us and choose your graphics card and operating system (make sure to choose 32 or 64bit). Download the driver (350.12), then install it like normal and follow the prompts. Your computer may need a restart after the install, but this should stop most of the random crashes.

If it worked for you, please post below, if not, let us know as well.

Has worked for me, no crashes in 2 days since using the rollback driver. Will edit and alert if the crashes start happening again!
